The heaviest debris — dirt, sod, concrete, brick, rock — plus small cleanups like a single bed tear-out or garage purge. Dense material always rides in the small can.
Mid-size yard projects — bed tear-outs, shrub and hedge removal, a big weekend cleanup. Mixed loads, moderate weight.
Large, lighter loads — whole-property cleanups, storm debris, brush piles, bulky junk. Heavy debris belongs in the 5-yard.

Which size do I need?
Most folks aren’t sure how big a “yard” really is, so here’s a simple way to picture it:
When in doubt, size up a little. Renting one dumpster that’s slightly bigger usually costs less and is less hassle than filling a small one and needing a second. The one exception is heavy debris — dense material stays in the 5-yard regardless of how much you have.
Spread the heavy stuff across the bottom and keep the load level rather than piled high on one end, so it stays balanced and safe to haul.
If your debris is unusually heavy (a lot of concrete, brick, or dirt) or you’ve got anything on the restricted list below, tell us so we can steer you to the right size.
What You Can and Can’t Put In It
Yard waste, brush, lumber, drywall, roofing shingles, furniture, and general household junk — our dumpsters are well-suited for most residential and light commercial debris.
No hazardous materials — paint, chemicals, asbestos, tires, or appliances containing refrigerants. When in doubt, call before you book and we’ll confirm.
Same-day or next-day drop-off is available — order by 12 PM (noon). The standard rental period is 5 days, and Sundays don’t count against your window. Book online or call to confirm your drop-off window.

Call in a contractor account for repeat dumpster drops, one point of contact, and delivery windows you can schedule a crew around.
